Highway Breakdown Safety Guides

  1. Keep calm: Do NOT slam on the brakes abruptly. Grip the steering wheel firmly with both hands.
  2. Gradually ease off the accelerator and signal left towards the emergency shoulder / safety lane.
  3. Turn on Hazard Lights (double indicators) immediately to alert trailing high-speed traffic.
  4. Place your reflective warning triangle 50 meters behind your vehicle on the highway.
  5. If you cannot change the tire safely, move all passengers behind the metal crash barrier and dial 1033.
